We’re excited to introduce Art for the Alliance, a new design competition sponsored by the RPCV Alliance for Ukraine. The winning designs will be featured in a future merchandise fundraising campaign.
Design Criteria
Submit designs that:
- could be used on posters, cards/postcards, stickers, clothing, and other merchandise that the RPCV Alliance for Ukraine could potentially sell as part of a future merchandise fundraising campaign.
- reflect Ukrainian culture, heritage, and values–both in terms of imagery and colors.
- represent your own original artwork. Use of artificial intelligence, if cited, is permitted.
- avoid offensive language and imagery.
Submission Process
There are no entry fees associated with this design competition.
Eligibility
Art for the Alliance is open to everyone.
Judging Process
Following the competition deadline, the Board of Directors for the RPCV Alliance for Ukraine will identify the designs that are viable to move forward in the competition. The Board of Directors will select the designs based on the relevance to the theme, usability, originality, and aesthetic quality. Board members who submit designs must abstain from voting on submitted designs.
The RPCV Alliance for Ukraine will then hold a public voting competition on our Instagram account (@allianceforukraine) from December 14 to 22, 2024. One design will be selected as the winner. Additional designs may be used for a future fundraising campaign.
Prizes
The winner will have their design utilized as part of the RPCV Alliance for Ukraine’s next merchandise fundraising campaign. The RPCV Alliance for Ukraine will also announce the winner across our social media platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and in our monthly newsletter. The RPCV Alliance for Ukraine will provide the winner with one (1) item of merchandise of their choice.
Additional Notes
The winning designs and additional designs selected for future fundraising campaigns will become property of the RPCV Alliance for Ukraine. The RPCV Alliance for Ukraine will acknowledge the name of the designer of each design. The RPCV Alliance for Ukraine reserves the right to alter, modify, or revise the winning designs as part of the final production process.
