The RPCV Alliance for Ukraine is seeking new at-large Board members to help lead our nonprofit organization. This is an exciting opportunity to support Ukraine, guide our mission, and strengthen our community.
- Application Period: September 9 to October 31, 2025
- Applicants who apply by the deadline will be invited to attend our November 11, 2025 Board meeting to meet current members and share their interest.
- Successful candidates will begin their 2-year term on December 1, 2025 and attend their first monthly meeting on December 9, 2025.
About the Role
At-large Board members:
- Serve as voting members of the Alliance for Ukraine Board of Directors
- Attend monthly Board meetings (virtual)
- Collaborate online with the Board through email and Google Docs
- (Optional) Serve on committees as members or committee leads
It is estimated that at-large Board members commit 5 hours per month to fulfill the duties of serving on the Board.
At-large members may also be eligible for officer positions as they become available.
Qualifications
We’re seeking candidates who have shown a strong commitment to supporting Ukraine—whether through Peace Corps service, volunteer work, or other meaningful engagement. We especially encourage applications from Ukrainians, members of the Ukrainian diaspora, and RPCVs who served in Ukraine.
Applicants should be prepared to submit a resume and a brief statement of motivation explaining their interest in joining the Board of Directors.
